Customer Relationship Management Intern


Burpple is looking for a Customer Service Intern. As the face of the company to most customers, you get the opportunity to build lasting customer relationships by assisting with their individual service needs whilst delivering enhanced customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Support the Customer Service Manager in assessing and responding to all customer/user queries that come through our feedback channels
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly and eloquent assistance to merchants and members to solve customer service issue through support channels which may include calls, email, chat and messaging that is aligned to our tone of voice
• Compose thoughtful and accurate messages or customise prepared responses to customer emails
• Resolve customer challenges by identifying and escalating issues to the Customer Service Manager & other teams appropriately
• Gather and share feedback from our community of merchants and members
• Identify tool and product changes in collaboration with the specific teams
• Support launch and implementation of new Burpple products and services

What we're looking for

• Polytechnic and university undergraduates from a business, customer service or operations background are preferred
• Outstanding communication skills, especially in written form
• Good problem-solving skills and showing high initiative
• A keen interest in the food & hospitality industry
• Passion for Burpple’s product, other consumer Internet and mobile products
• Applicants have to commit to at least 3 months
